SMS/Text Messaging Consent Policy

Opt-In Methods:

  2. Verbal Agreement – During a phone or in-person conversation, the customer provides verbal consent to receive text messages. This consent is documented in our internal records with date, time, and staff member name.

Message Content:
Messages may include service updates, reminders, alerts, or important account information. No marketing or promotional content will be sent.

Frequency:
Message frequency will be low (typically fewer than 10 messages per month).

Opt-Out Instructions:
Each message includes instructions for opting out. Customers may reply “STOP” at any time to discontinue receiving messages.

Data Privacy:
Customer phone numbers and consent records are securely stored and used solely for the purposes stated above. We do not share or sell customer information.

Example Consent Language:

“By providing your phone number and confirming via text or verbal agreement, you agree to receive occasional service-related text messages from Relium IT, LLC. Message frequency may vary. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.”
